International Lace Day
Sunday June 21st
International Lace Day aims to raise awareness of the
art of lace making, and encourages the public to give it a try.
In celebration of the day, Sale Lacemakers will be
having a small display of handmade lace at an open day to be held at “Segue” in
Stratford (in the Courthouse theatre building) from 10:00-2:00. Members of the
group will be demonstrating their skills at lacemaking and there will be
equipment available for visitors to have a go.
